An easy way to step back in history is to cook. I spent the morning today cutting up fresh peaches recently purchased in the Grand Valley, on the West Slope of Colorado. Lucky for us, our son and his wife live in Grand Junction. It is a double delight to drive over The Great Divide for a visit during harvest season. Did you ever wish you could step back in history? This past weekend, my hubby, Don, and I stayed at the Hand Hotel in Fairplay, Colorado, in the shadow of Mount Silverheels.
